The external sex organs are clearly formed and distinguishable. They
may be seen on ultrasound if the positioning is right. WE hope to find out what our baby
is when we have our next ultrasound. The bones can be seen through the skin, but they
are too soft to allow the mother to feel movement at this point. Although some fluttering
may be felt as early as 15 to 16 weeks. |
External ears have grown and are moving the the proper position on the head.
Teeth are growing underneath the gums.
|

The baby's eyes are closed and will remain closed during this mid trimester. |
 |
4th month ends, the baby's proportions are more normal. However, the
mother's proportions seem to be getting a little bottom heavy. |
